Why Officer Bitiya:
Officer Bitiya is not just a career program, but a mission involving all mothers, fathers and well-wishers of girl child to provide better future prospects. India has been land of Gods and Goddesses, during Hindu festival girls are worshiped throughout India and there is a ritual to wash the feet of girls. Despite of all worship rituals girls are considered weak and gender discrimination is very common in various parts of India. There are lot of factors which contribute for this plight of a certain section of population. The social evils like Female Feticide, Crime against women, gender discrimination are the major areas of concern. The first and foremost reason contributed for this is lack of education of parents and lack of opportunities for the girl child.
Officer Bitiya aims to eradicate the evils, acting as a bridge between parents and schools/colleges so that every girl gets equal opportunity to step in to their dream career and make their life more purposeful. This endeavor will result in providing better career and financial independence to every Officer Bitiya
